Well, they’re finally here: limited edition Kim Deal prints, just in time for the holidays! I made six of each design, so get while the getting’s good! And best of all: each print is just $40 bucks, shipping included. Each print measures 10″ x 8″ on masonite. Each print is hand-painted, so there is some slight variation print-to-print. You can find these for sale on the blog right here. Thanks for your support, and thanks to KD for being her.
Introducing, for the first time on this blog, a holiday studio sale! On November 26, there is a nationwide “Small Business Saturday” that encourages shoppers to avoid the big box chain stores in favor of small handcrafted items. The sale, which consists of my doll paintings from the Melancholia series, starts now and will run through the holidays. By supporting small businesspeople like me, you say, “hey, I value handmade things. I support art and artists. I am a kind and decent individual.” Each painting from this series is just $150. Shipping is ten bucks nationally; 20 bucks internationally. I will throw in a couple stickers and cards with each purchase. And if you’d like, I will happily gift wrap any painting. Just shoot me an email.
Here is the link directly to the doll paintings. Thank you for supporting the 99%. Mazel Tov!
I made stickers of my studio mantra. Who doesn’t love stickers? They’re awesome and fun, and you can put them on things. One dollar, plus 50 cents for shipping. Mother’s Day is right around the corner; get her a gift that says, “I know how to make online purchases.” Buy them here.
Wow, thanks everyone for such a nice response to Rhymes With Fever! I had a over 600 blog views yesterday, and that was in part to the wonderful word of mouth and sharing on social networks. Incredible. A Justin Bieber coloring book on the interwebs is like a butterfly’s wings: the effects are felt everywhere.
In addition to being able to buy this book from this blog, I have also listed it on Etsy. Some of you may feel more comfortable or more familiar with Etsy, and that’s just fine. You can link to my Etsy seller’s page right here.
Thanks again everyone. Don’t stop beliebin’.
I had a brainstorm a couple weeks ago, and it was sparked by my wonderful friend Isabel, an 8-year-old die-hard Belieber. She loves him. L-O-V-E-S him. She dressed up as him on Halloween. She has all his songs on her iPod. She saw the 3D movie. If she were any older, I am certain I would tease her regarding her fandom. But she’s 8. She’s supposed to like Justin Bieber. And she’s doing it right. More to the point, he’s doing it right. He’s a good kid who’s a good role model and nice to his fan base. I wanted to make her something that would engage her interests as well as remind her of me. So I made this coloring book, figuring that there may be a lot more Isabels out in the world.
Here is a link to buy this coloring book directly from this blog. (You can also find it under “Buy My Work!” in the right hand column.) It’s just 5 bucks, plus $1 for shipping. It’s funny and fun. Buy one for yourself and one for your favorite awesome kid in your life. It’s sweet, not snarky. No bad words or images. Appropriate for any age or gender. The book measures 8 1/2″ x 7″, softcover, with 11 illustrations.
