I’m sure everyone by now has seen or heard the story of sweet little Avalanna Routh, the Massachusetts girl with a rare form of brain cancer.  She is the most charming kid I’ve ever seen.  I’m fairly certain that everyone who sees her or reads her story falls in love with her.

Today I sent her a few of my “Rhymes With Fever” Justin Bieber-themed coloring books.  I hope she likes them.  Cancer treatment sucks; it’s gotta be a million times worse for a kid.  She deserves a little joy.

Wow, thanks everyone for such a nice response to Rhymes With Fever!  I had a over 600 blog views yesterday, and that was in part to the wonderful word of mouth and sharing on social networks.  Incredible.  A Justin Bieber coloring book on the interwebs is like a butterfly’s wings: the effects are felt everywhere.

In addition to being able to buy this book from this blog, I have also listed it on Etsy.  Some of you may feel more comfortable or more familiar with Etsy, and that’s just fine.  You can link to my Etsy seller’s page right here.

Thanks again everyone.  Don’t stop beliebin’.

I had a brainstorm a couple weeks ago, and it was sparked by my wonderful friend Isabel, an 8-year-old die-hard Belieber.  She loves him. L-O-V-E-S  him.  She dressed up as him on Halloween.  She has all his songs on her iPod.  She saw the 3D movie.  If she were any older, I am certain I would tease her regarding her fandom.  But she’s 8.  She’s supposed to like Justin Bieber.  And she’s doing it right.  More to the point, he’s doing it right.  He’s a  good kid who’s a good role model and nice to his fan base.  I wanted to make her something that would engage her interests as well as remind her of me.  So I made this coloring book, figuring that there may be a lot more Isabels out in the world.

Here is a link to buy this coloring book directly from this blog.  (You can also find it under “Buy My Work!” in the right hand column.)  It’s just 5 bucks, plus $1 for shipping.  It’s funny and fun.  Buy one for yourself and one for your favorite awesome kid in your life.  It’s sweet, not snarky.  No bad words or images.  Appropriate for any age or gender.  The book measures 8 1/2″ x 7″, softcover, with 11 illustrations.
